PORTSMOUTH, VA (WAVY)-Hugo is all living alone in inner clock at a train station in 1930. This is the story of a man (Asa Butterfield) desperate to repair the robot in the hope of getting a message from his father late.
He scavenges croissants and other things to eat from the vendors at the train station and parts for the robot's father has been found in a museum. He swipes from the owner of a toy shop we soon learn more from the toymaker.
Two lives intersect and the second half of the film begins, enlightening viewers on some early movie staples.
Martin Scorsese directed by John Logan, based on the novel "The Invention of Hugo Cabret". Extraordinary Film, shot in between the best cinematography of the year. And surprise of the Scorsese-in 3D. It's only fitting that he implores moms special effects to pay homage to their father.
